Doog and Val are in Japan still! They went last Thursday, and have enjoyed their time together! Saturday morning around 3 am, I got a text from Doog and woke up to talk to him. Next thing I know is waking up and Matt calling to tell me there had been a 7.2 earthquake in Japan 180 miles north of Tokyo.
After seven hours of trying to get ahold of them, I got the call that they are fine!!
This is unbelievable to me that everytime they travel by themselves something happens. Like them checking out of their hotel room that looked onto the World Trade Center on Sept. 9th. You know... the Millenium Hilton that was destroyed after the attacks??
Crazy!
